China promulgated the first "export luggage quality and safety manual"

China's travel luggage exports last year exceeded 10 billion US dollars for the first time, accounting for one-third of the world trade in luggage. To further improve the quality and safety of export level, the Ministry of Commerce Foreign Trade Division, AQSIQ Inspection and Supervision Division and China Light Industry Crafts Import and Export Chamber of Commerce on April 26 at the Canton Fair jointly promulgated China's first "export luggage quality and safety manual" .

Wang Hanjiang, president of China Light Industry Crafts Import and Export Chamber of Commerce, said at the 103rd Canton Fair on the same day that this manual will be distributed to numerous exhibitors free of charge. Afterwards, the chamber of commerce will also set up a number of major production bases in Zhejiang, Fujian, Guangdong, Shanghai and Hebei Export quality and safety series of training activities. China has become the world's largest luggage manufacturer and exporter. At present, China's luggage industry with an annual output value of more than 100 billion yuan, driving more than 1.5 million jobs, annual output accounts for more than half of global output, has formed from R & D design, finished product processing to marketing a complete industrial chain.

Wang Hanjiang said that this manual has been formulated and released in order to further optimize the industrial structure and improve the quality and safety of exported luggage.
